The Yoruba community of Ghana, has officially outdoored a 62-year-old astute businessman as a new Chief for the Yoruba people in Ghana, to uphold the culture and tradition of the people and to promote unity and peace among them.
The coronation, followed the successful installation of Alhaji Rashid Brimah IX, early this year, as custom and tradition demanded and following the demise of his predecessor, Chief Alhaji Hamza Peregrino-Brimah VIII.
The event was attended by hundreds of citizens and friends of Yoruba descent from far and near as well as dignitaries from Nigeria.
The ceremony was used to showcase some of the rich cultural values, traditions and potentials of the Yoruba people.
