It’s a dripping, drizzling morning here in San Ignacio. I’m propped up outside of our little room, borrowed the wooden desk chair that I found as I removed Savannah’s Belizean closet, and dined on some of the remaining Nutella and crackers we have leftover from our travels here.

It’s now 6:49 am, and we aren’t set to have breakfast for another 2 hours and 11 minutes (yes, I’m testing your math skills). That’s pretty close to lunch in Belize terms. But, I guess we’re just traveling Americans who love our sleep.

Anymore, I’m an early riser, especially in Belize. I think it’s my issue with control, like if I wake up early, I’ll be able to have more control over my day since I have more time to prepare for it.

In reality, this makes no sense, since I have minimal control over my day, only what I choose to do. It’s early. My thoughts haven’t quite materialized into coherency yet, bear with me :)
