Pigment is then built up using contrasting thin washes and thick strokes of paint. The graphite/charcoal line-work is either left revealed, painted over, or followed exactly. The image is concluded with some detailed blending and brushwork, creating both loose and meticulous areas in the composition.

Subjects - Most of my work relates to woman and nature with occasional literary and mythological references. There can be dark undertones and light undertones to my work, as much of it is stream of consciousness
